Yes its possible to get foreign draft in canadian dollars, I was there yesterday and open the account will go back there today to fund the dom acct and submit the letter requesting for the draft.

@ Reddish, Could you tell me the branch that offers foreign draft in CAD? Did you open the Dom acct in CAD or USD as I'm really interested in this to obtain my child's processing fee. I ask this because I reside outside Lagos and the GTBank branches where I live are clueless on the matter.

Jada, Good day and how is life, getting a Canadian dollar draft here is the process
you open a dom account with GTB then buy US dollar and pay into your account there after you can purchase the draft.
with GTB i think it is centralized to Adetokubo Ademola branch in VI, Lagos. i guess the branch can process it then send to the VI branch where it is processed and send it via courrier to the branch you made the request.
meanwhile PM to give you a friend's number who is in charge.
have it in mind that you will have to buy more of US dollars as Canadian dollar is higher now.

Dan is right about the process except you have to open saving or current acct for d Dom to be tied to it, I am also outside lagos precisely Warri so any good Branch can place d order to Odela odekun office. Remember you have to source for the dollar yourself to fund d dom account.
