I checked my status today and i saw in process even though the narration that followed it is still the same as what was written there when it was showing received by visa office. I am glad that its at least showing in process after 7 months of submitting full documents. I have taken another glass of patience even as we await for Medical Request.

Once again i urge you all to come out and vote on Saturday and vote for the right candidate remember if you dont vote then you have no moral right whatsoever to complain about the ways that whoever emerges conducts the affairs of this country. There is sure light at the end of the tunnel.

@ loolo, apologies accepted. welcome on board. Stocks may be acceptable if properly valued and denominated in an International currency. The valuation has to be done by a registered broker though. the danger however is that the VO may ask you for an updated POF due to the volatile nature of your asset.

Congrats in advance. You are a step away from your medicals. Just do what you were told by Accra.
Original documents were requested, so send them without any iota of fear. Make sure you use a very reliable courier like DHL and get confirmation that the documents reached Accra.
I was impressed by Accra Visa office the other day when all my documents were returned to me after the issuance of visas. All documents sent, whether original or notarized were in their pristine condition-some since 2004. So I am sure your documents will be returned to you at the appropriate time spotlessly!

Congratulations to all the people with updates, MR and pending landings. I admire the optimism and patience of ya all, I wish I have a dose or measure of it.

I ordered and received my caips notes, discovered that since full application was submitted May 2010 NOTHING had been done on the file other than issue a new file number and a BF date of 11/02/11.

Please note that although ecas says 'in process' not even the PSDEC (Paper Selection Decision) had been made. The file is still in queue for review and it is almost a year down the line.

I admire those whose files have been in Accra since 2004/05.

I have decided to keep this Canada thing in the background and just get on with all those things I have put on hold, and decided to take the family to eurodisney in July (I need to chill after the long wait) 8)

Could you give us the details of your E-CAS status? Does it say your file has been reviewed and is now being processed or that it has been received? Were u at any time requested for additional document/s?

My address was wrongly written on ecas. The P.O.Box is not showing only the 2412, and the coountry comes before the city and state. Should I send email to my VO?

I don't think any letter can get to this place even though it supposed to be P.O.Box 2412, Shomolu, Lagos, Nigeria. The most annoying aspect of it was that Accra has sent me mails and letter before using the correct address. I don't know if anybody has had this experience before.

If you have received letters from Accra before, then they have your correct address on file. The I.T guys must have made an error during upload of your status. and as you know, E-CAS is not always up to date, we have seen people who have landed and their E-CAS still says In-Process.
