If you just submitted then you should be more concerned with your debit card getting charged or your DD enchashed. After this you wait for your PER email and hopefully your MR email which may come or may not come with updated POF depending on what you submitted as initial POF.
Below are some reasons why CHC asks for updated POF
MAIN REASONS
1. You submitted Assets as proof of funds (CHC will demand standard POF)
2. Your initial PoF is less than the required size
3. Your family size have changed
4. You submitted a bank letter instead of FD or bank statement
5. Your statement was printed like 3months before it gets to CIO in Nova Scotia
6. Sudden change in the family composition of applicant and as such the existing POF can't cover the family any more.
7. Sudden large amount in the statement of account used as POF(Account history is inconsistent)
8. Lack of correlation b/w payslips if submitted along with initial application and statement of account.
9. Long waiting period b/w time of application processing and request by VO.
10.The use of joint account could also be another factor.
11.Any other reasons best known to the officer handling your case.
