I want to advice those of us that were asked for another POF at MR stage to know that if they move in large sum of money into the account, they might be asked to explain how they get the money with the originals of the supporting documents .I was asked to do it.
This week will be a week of abundance of rain for all PPR hopefuls (Jodav3, alfpharm, kolemn, et al ) and to all MR hopefuls headyman and co.

Oluspe Congrats on your passport request, and also thanks a alot for sharing your mail it is quite helpful

From this mail sent to Oluspe,does it mean that you must land to canada before your passport expires even if the date of landing has not expired?I do not get it because i thought that one can always apply for a renewal of passport and possibly send it together with the old one with visa stamp back to the embassy for re-stamping.

We'd need to know your data before we can advice adequately. Like your visa office/country of residence, MR date etc.

For the POF, So far your account isn't new and has been operating, you'd need to allow the lump sum to remain in the account for a couple of days/weeks before taking statement. And in addition, explaining why you put a lump sum is not out place, in a letter to the office. Eg like you sold a property etc.

• Each passport is valid for at least 6 months from the time you come for the visa
• Each passport has sufficient free pages (two required for our visa, plus pages for any transit visa)
