My PPR mail sneaked into my inbox some minutes ago. I was sleeping at the time but I caught it. I have been sleeping with one eye opened ever since I completed my medical.
What an exceeding joy. All glory be to the most high God.

I see that Accra is sending MR for April 2012. I have not seen anyone in the house that is May 2012.
Does this mean that after April 2012, the next should be May 2013?
Or do we have December 2012 applicants?
I think CIC stopped receiving applications for FSW 2011 on 1st July, 2012, but Accra may/ may not have FSW applicants for May, June and July 2012. I believe we (FSW 2013) are getting closer gradually. AVO will surprise us very soon.egbe said:I am just wondering which month CIC stopped receiving application for 2012. Who knows?

The way each VO operates is different from the other but from my own experience with Accra, they do background check mostly on Security via Police Reports sent to them and also on finances(via bank statement of account).nanonye said:Seniors, I have a question just out of curiosity. From a sister forum, I have seen that many London VO applicants have received invitations for Interviews as part of their background checks while some applicants from New Delhi VO actually had physical checks at their places off work.
Please how does Accra operate. Did you guys attend interviews or you had checks in your offices through physical visits, email or calls, or was there nothing at all until the issuance of MR and Visa.
Please reply.
They did for employment too and educational credentials....just make sure these docs are as solid as possible...donwin4real said:The way each VO operates is different from the other but from my own experience with Accra, they do background check mostly on Security via Police Reports sent to them and also on finances(via bank statement of account).
It all depends on how you packaged your application and how genuine and enough are the documents presented, for me, the only background check was on Security, Birth Certs and my Marriage Cert; no interviews or visitations involved.
Hope this helps...
All the best!
You mentioned check on finances (via bank statement of account). Can you highlight on this? Does this mean they will go to your bank to inquire your current account balance or is it just making sure that such banks exists? Will the bank oblige to release such information on client account?donwin4real said:The way each VO operates is different from the other but from my own experience with Accra, they do background check mostly on Security via Police Reports sent to them and also on finances(via bank statement of account).

On employment, I have been wondering if it is entirely necessary to inform VO on change of employment even though it was mentioned a requirement in PER letter and E-cas. I just feel that if you've worked in a place, and the employer is willing to confirm that you did when VO asks, this suffices. Of course issues like change in family constitution e.g. addition of a child I think has a greater implication if you do not inform VO.
If we give every information about change of job, travel history etc, won't this slow the visa processing down?
Please correct me if my assumptions are wrong.
Remain blessed.
