I STOOD IN FRONT OF THE RECEPTIONIST AND SHE ASKED WHY I WAS HERE. I TOLD HER AND I WAS ASKED FOR THE PPR LETTER, PASSPORT PHOTOS AND INT'L PASSPORT. SHE THEN ASKED ME TO COME BACK BY 3PM. MY PEOPLE I STARTED PRAYING TO GOD BUT THIS TIME, A PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING.I MOVED INTO TOWN TO LOOK AROUND. AT ABOUT QUARTER TO 3PM, I WAS BACK. THE RECEPTIONIST STARTED CALLING NAMES. I WAS THE SECOND PERSON. IMMEDIATELY I SAW MY SON'S COPR, I BROKE DOWN. MY PEOPLE, I WAS OVERWHELMED. MY DREAM IS FINALLY A REALITY. Abeg can anyone guide me on how to go about the new application. I also heard that many things have changed about the application processing. Step by step analysis will be appreciated.

Royal Dee, welcome on board. I suggest you ask specific questions on grey areas you observed while going through the CIC website. It will also be good for you to read some of the relevant contributions in other threads on this forum especially those relating to new applications. But know one thing, this is a game of patience. First I advice you visit the CIC website and follow all the instructions and fill all the forms you are asked to fill. Gather all the documents you are asked to submit. Whatever is not clear there can be brought to the forum for clarification.

Please confirm the MR falls into JUNKMAIL?I always clear out all my junkmails as they are mostly scam mails.seems I have to start checking them one by one.so idont miss out o!

Thanks. but would there be any impact to MR process, before getting to PPR stage - would the details of my expired passport details be reflected in the MR document in anyway. Trying to avoid a situation where an expired passport detail is shown on a MR, when a new passport is now being used by an applicant going for Medicals. There would be difference in the passport numbers of old and new.

I intend to renew my children's passports end of this month when they come home for mid term break. When you filled The imm0008 form, did you send it to them by mail or email?

Your medical request form will not show any of your passport details aside from your full name details, the only reason you have to take your valid passport for medicals is to proof your identity to the practitioner who will attend to you.
when cic request for your passport they will specify that you inform them on any changes in your initial information you filled in your form, thats when you fill and sign a new imm008 which you will take along with you on the day of your passport collection.
It's a simple things, there is noting to worry about. You can go ahead to renew your passport.
