Do you have work experience in your field ? ...If you do research APEEGA ( Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta) if no related experience why not research into the jobs in Alberta or think of an MSc because there are lots of internships available to students in this field and from those internships people get jobs... google cenovus energy, nexen energy ,encana, suncor, mobil, shell, chevron, vermillion energy, savannah energy and also do more research online

Justice Rennie's ruling against the backlog applicants is a sad one. For those that have waited the longest, it is disappointing. But don't stop believing. Please don't stop your canadian dream. Please look at the other immigration streams and see which one you qualify for. Don't waste a second. An expression of interest system would be introduced in 2014 If Mr.Kenney has his way and this may make it difficult for applicants from the developing world. So the earlier the better.

@Babakura, the whole idea is for people who are in to know what exactly to do when they get here. There are so many postings on the forum already, many of which I read to and quite frankly were atimes confusing and some even contradicting. I know exactly what I am talking about. Each person's experience is completely different and while I can say a lot of the postings helped, alot of them did not. Different people need different levels of information at different times. That is all I will say.

There are lots of us communicating by phone and email already outside of the forum and there is something that personal touch does that isn't possible with a mass message sent to everyone.
