Good people of Naija,I got my visa from Accra yesterday.It was a very wonderful feeling.And in case you are wondering, I had to go at the earliest opportunity before they change their mind and tell me to come in another 2-3 months time LOL.

I no blame you my dear after all the long wait you want to get the Visa like yesterday. CONGRATULATIONS! All expectants too ours will come sooner than expected.
Please everyone i would like to know whether accra sends any kind of acknowledgement after full documents are recieved. Sent in my documents since December. I'm expecting at least a confirmation that my documents were recieved.

Yes, but they are first Q1 of 2004, the Q2 people will start receiving from Feb/Mar 2011 as indicated on my caips reports received today

I ordered the caips reports through www.caipsnotes.com.
You can order it at any time you think you experiencing a delay on the CHC side,Or maybe you are so curious to know what is going on with your file or see the VO remarks on your file.

To answer your questions. The caips reports take 5weeks, applied on the 11th Dec.2010 and received it on the 18th Jan.2011. I applied for a comprehensive reports which include my visa file, the basic reports is just a regular with less detailed information. I applied through www.caipsnotes.com

note: my selection decission was based and being processed on the information on my application forms in 2004, updated IRPA FORMS and additional academic certificates submitted at a late date for myself and wife were not considered even IETLS reports i redo in 2008 was ignored, my language ability was assessed by the ielts reports i submitted in 2004. We are both assessed for eligibility on the date preceding of our application. My wife holds OND, BA and MA from Unilag ONLY OND cert.was considered for her. I got 3 points for adaptability instead 4 or 5 points.
