You can choice either routes, usually Accra VO will state on the letter sent to you to either come in person or send via courier, it is advised you go in person as documents sometimes get missing in transit

I have been processing my document with the Accra office and i have not been asked to send my passport for visa.
Please find my full time below

Applied in Feb 2010
Recieved request for documents on 27th October 2010
Sent Documents February 1st 2011
Received request for Medicals April 30th 2012 and instruction to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee
Did medicals and sent payment May 30th 2012
Received email to send passport for visa 13th Jan 2013
Sent Passport via Fedex 16th of January with return enveloped included
Passports landed and delivered 17th of Jan 2013

Please can someone give me an estimated time on when my passport will be returned?

Congrats sogood u broke d long silence ds year and wish u safe trip to Accra.
@easibor well if you have sent it by fedex u have to wait and you shouldnt have risked it in d first instance but dont worry since they have acknowledged receipt you can send them another mail to query when you should expect it back. Congrats

It is about 3 minutes walk to the Canadian High Commission ;D. USD130/night for a standard room. I have used them. Basic Facilities.

Welcome on board easibor.
Your statement was at first confusing when you said you have not been asked to send your passport!
Congratulations at least you received the PPR mail on Jan 13th.
If you had gone yourself you would have gotten it by Jan 21st.
But as it is you may have to call Fedex to remind them for pick-up from AVO.
