@EMO/Shady Another confirmation that Accra is working and would issue Visas to. All who have done medicals shortly. The Quota would not finish until you guys are settled and its a matter of hours away by God's grace.

Hi,
I think there is a mistake in your dates (timeline). You claim to receive MR on 16/07/2012 and you did the Medical Test on 24/10/2012. That was well beyond the 60 days Accra VO usually give to applicants to make available their Medical reports. Or were you given 90 days to make medical reports available?

About your medical result, it does not go straight to VO. It is first sent to Paris and later to VO. If you check your letter of instruction about MR, you will find where the Panel Physician is mandated to send your Medical Result.

To the Ministry of transport in the province where you are headed to. My friend landed in Ontario so he got the FRSC to address it to the 'Ontario Department of Transport'. FRSC has doneit severally so once you ask for the letter they know who to address it to.

Under letter of Authentication it says

The Letter of Authentication:

•May be acquired from the Embassy, Consulate or High Commissioner's Office representing the originating jurisdiction, OR from the jurisdiction that originally issued the licence, validating the authenticity of the licence.
•Must be on the originator's official letterhead paper.
•Must be dated no more than 6 months prior to application date.
•Must clearly state that it is certifying the duration of the applicant's driving experience and that the licence to which it refers is valid – the licence cannot be expired or suspended.
•If not in English or French must be translated by a Ministry recognize translator.

I guess a lot of people use the embassy option becuase they are not aware they can obtain the letter from here before leaving. So when they get there are about to process it, they are told to reach out to the embassy for the authentication letter.

I love living next to Christmas trees..... if you know what I mean. So will be heading west of Canada and the letter will be addressed there.... Thanks for this wonderful info.....
