I intend raising foreign drafts (usd) in one of the Nigerian banks for my POF, so that on landing I could open a bank account with it in Calgary, while i pocket small dollars for my immediate use for the first few days of landing.

Hope the immigration officers at the POE will not be mad at me?

Received Health Insurance info today for the family and sent out Drivers licence for me and wifey for Authentication at Nigeria Embassy in Ottawa. Apparently this is the first step towards getting DLs for Naija people in Calgary and towards registering a car (first mistake -we bought the vehicle without knowing this point).
