Thanks bro..i love you faith as regards your profile ( soon in JN). And it shall be so in JESUS name, amen. Once again thx. Do you think the cc is safe or which wld u advice?

Yah the credit card is safe... You can use your Gtb bank master card, they have been very effective so far also UBA master card.

you should have more than the expected money in your account... because of the exchange rates that keeps on changing.

For bank draft.... you are sure there will be no issue getting the money. But it has to be in Canadian dollars. I will advise you get a bank draft if you know a bank that can issue you a bank draft in Canadian dollar.

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/students/stay-quebec/application-csq/students-quebec/fees-payment-time.html

NOTE! Cheques and bank drafts must be made payable to the Minister of Finance of Québec and must be mailed with your file to the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l'Inclusion. Be sure to indicate on the reverse side of the cheque the name of the applicant in block letters. Payment in cash, by personal cheque or by traveller’s cheque is not accepted.

If your credit card payment is refused, the Ministère will not contact you to advise you of the refusal and your entire file will be returned to you by regular mail

2.Preliminary review: The Ministère conducts a preliminary review of your application based on current selection criteria and informs you of the results and any additional steps that may be necessary.

thats the stage where they inform you of any additional steps

you should be in the third stage now

Hi Fablev,

Just recently joined the group. I submitted my application in February, 2014 late February to be precise through a cousin in Canada. However, received an AOR dated 16th June, 2014 in July, 2014 stating my File No and Dossier No. Moreso, that if I have any update about my spouse, change of address, I should update with a form.
I am on the priority list with 16 points(Bsc in Nursing Science), married with a kid and with over 4 years working experience. Although, I graduated from a University from Benin Republic where I had my Bsc.
How much longer do you think I need to wait to get the CSQ and what are the criteria for Interview waiver?
Expecting your reply.

You submitted February and got AOR in July... you are definitely on the priority list with 16points

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/official-immigration-application/processing-times-table.php?pays=txt-pays-nigeria#formulaire_delais

on that website you will see the average processing times for Nigerians
and since you are under priority... you will have your reply faster.. Start practicing your french incase you are called for interview

The funniest thing is that I did not include in the package the form for the regulated profession in quebec. Did not realised I had to include it. Furthermore, I did not submit any French result. I only submitted the IELTS result. Regarding the time for Nigeria, I can see 18 months.

What does that mean? Does it mean the time it will take to process the whole application from the time they initially received completed application or Does it count from the time they first receive the package?

Please shed more light.

Thanks

The most important thing is that they gave you the AOR. They wrote in the AOR that if they need anything from you, they will inform you. And if they felt that your application was incomplete they wouldnt have given you AOR.

From my understanding you are in the second stage 2.Preliminary review:

all we can do is wait to hear from Quebec and practice our french :) :) :)
