I sent an email to niagara falls office email ID from where people get the oath ceremony scheduling email and requested them that if they can schedule me early for the oath as i have a work related trip in mid january for 2 weeks.

No waiting to see if they do reply or alternatively do some activity in my file and schedule me for the oath or not.

Has anyone that had their oath on Nov 9th at Niagara Falls IRCC that didn’t request urgent processing receive their citizenship certificates by mail as yet?

Had my Oath on 9th. Spoke to an agent today and he said they haven't mailed the certificate yet and they are planning to mail it in a few weeks.

really? it's been 20 days now. I will also keep this in mind so I book a passport appointment accordingly. :/

I ended up cancelling my passport appointment at my local passport office due to this, I booked my appointment based on the recent timelines I was noticing however for the past month or so I think its taking more time than it was earlier, atleast in my case

Really? I am giving it a margin of 5-6 weeks after my oath ceremony for the passport appt. Fingers crossed, I hope I get mine within that time frame because I already have a travel booked for summer

I applied to the Ottawa office in June 2021 and received the invite for Oath a couple of days ago from the Niagara office. The issue is that the oath is on December 13 and I am scheduled to fly out on the 15th (my dad has been in and out of hospital very recently). I've tried emailing the Niagara office to reschedule but haven't heard back anything. Is there another email for the Niagara office that they check frequently? Would appreciate any help in advance :'(

If you didn't receive a reply by December 13, you can attend the Oath and ask the agent to resecudle your Oath.

Today, i sent a letter what i sent them in email, along with HR letter regarding my upcoming business trip and booked ticket to niagara falls office via canada post xpress post.

Hoping to have some movement after this.

My MP office was advised by IRCC to send either web form or mail a letter to IRCC processing office explaining the reason along with documentary evidence and arranged flight tickets, if any. Web form is really a lengthy process so thought to send a letter. I did this today, sent email earlier on Tuesday. No response to email yet nor any movement on the file

Wanted to share that I finally received my citizenship certificates today,my oath was on Nov 9th and they have mailed the certificates on Nov 29

Dec 3: Ghost Update in online tracker

No real update in online tracker, citizenship ceremony still showing as Not Started

Is this nornal and expected to have a ghost update before citizenship ceremony goes in process ?

And when does that history section gets updated at bottom of tracker page, same day when citizenship ceremony turns in process ?

Anyone can share more about this...

I am still in the beginning process. June applicant. Received an update on November 24 and nothing else after. When I called they said security is passed and they are working on criminality. No test invite. This sucks .
