Not sure if that is coincidence but my other three was marked 16 and i have send email 3 days later for the same email of the test so 25 respond and 26 i see was made in progress, but respond i got was coming weeks to expect that day as i informed i want to travel.

Did you send a regular web form enquiry or did you email the Niagara Falls office directly?

Is there a specific email address to contact them that they will respond to?

Oath date: May 11
File closed: May 20

Thanks to everyone in this thread, it has been incredibly helpful in times of what can be a frustrating application process! Best of luck to the rest waiting :) it will come soon.

Does anyone know if we can apply citizenship for Minor from outside of Canada with our (parent's) citizenship certificate copy? @rajkamalmohanram @harirajmohan any idea?
I am not sure about which documents they would require.
Check with the embassy to know what parents' documents are required.
Even within Canada, some officers ask copr for whole family and some officers are ok with marriage certificate etc. But surely it wont be big problem in applying.

No i meant, sending paper citizenship application to Sydney office for only kid from outside Canada. If parents have citizenship then we can apply separately for kids that i know, but not sure if we can apply if we all are outside Canada..

Surely you can apply for child while outside. Many are doing it. We have seen posts mentioning that the parents travel to Canada for oath(for their child).

Hi All,

I moved to St. Cath & updated my address yesterday. The current office in Scarborough. Finished my test on 26 Jan & since then no update & waiting for the oath.

The background check was completed in Nov 28.

With address change & move...Will my file move to Niagara falls office? Any update how is Niagara office is doing in terms of oath invite ?

Niagara Falls office is heavily backlogged right now for oath. I am waiting since April 26th, 2022. I noticed a few online applications who got DM in February and March with NFG still waiting for their oaths too.

No, just use canadian passport next time when you file your status extn with uscis or while entering US port of entry.
Its not required to do it while inside as your legal status is based on I94(not based on passport number since we all renew our current passports which leads to different passport number which wont be reflected in immigration system - its same way).
