Congratulations on the oath date (I could see on your signature here that it's Sept 14). I am really happy for you. Please keep us posted when you do the oath.

Yeah I agree, I am not sure what else they are reviewing since every thing is completed on my application with exception to oath ceremony. I haven’t ordered GCMS notes yet… but I may do that in the next couple of weeks if I don’t get any movement.Wow, so now we have evidence that the application is not necessarily approved even when everything except oath has moved to Completed. I always suspected that is why I was waiting so long to get oath scheduled. Although I'm not sure why they say oath invite 3-4 months after approval when virtually everyone else gets oath invite within 3-4 WEEKS if not days after DM.
Have you ordered GCMS notes? I'm also curious to know what kind of review would still be done after everything except oath has moved to Completed, as that had always been assumed to indicate DM.
Thanks! That wait from (supposed) DM to oath invitation sure was stressful. Hope things will go more smoothly from here and will certainly keep everyone posted.Congratulations on the oath date (I could see on your signature here that it's Sept 14). I am really happy for you. These are all plausible theories... But the thing is last week two people with the exact timeline as me got their oath invites from the Niagara Falls (like we all got everything complete on August 3rd). Mine is online theirs are paper based...So they have a large volume of applications in the queue awaiting ceremony ... it does seem that there have been fewer oaths in Niagara Falls since like June. Maybe that's why they have created a backlog. Some mid-2021 applicants have been getting oath on time with Niagara Falls, but I have also noticed that a lot of the people who got oath with Niagara Falls recently were 2020 and 2019 applicants processed in other offices who had been waiting forever for every single step and only got transferred to Niagara Falls for oath. Maybe the agents were vacationing? Hope they really are working as fast as they can to catch up now.
I'm pretty sure that "queue for oath" means your application has been approved and you're in line to be scheduled for oath. As opposed to receiving the response that @kaspersky1 received about the application being "reviewed" and their being "unable to tell you a timeline for your application to be approved." Although when I first emailed them in July, a bit more than one month after everything had moved to Completed, they responded "Your application is currently in queue to receive a notification to appear for ceremony in the coming months."These are all plausible theories... I'm suspicious they somehow have a priority to clear up paper applicants...
Or now I think maybe my file is not Decision Made yet... What does it mean to be in a queue for oath? Maybe some other officer reviews everything for a last time and if thumbs up they invite you to the next available ceremony.
And yes, I am seeing evidence everywhere that paper applications are being processed faster than online! Mine was also online, which explains the overall slowness, but even for online applications, it is rare to be waiting so long between DM and oath invite. These are all plausible theories... Are you only able to order GCMS notes from within canada? I am currently outside Canada, however still maintain PR eligibilityI'm pretty sure that "queue for oath" means your application has been approved and you're in line to be scheduled for oath. My GCMS notes that I had ordered in late May and received in late June did have a section where status was set to Approved and one of the agent's notes said "Citizenship is granted" - as of June 10! So I assumed that meant that my application had been approved as of June 10 ... so also curious if not everyone's GCMS notes say that even if they see everything except oath set to Completed in the tracker?
Yes. Ask to have them sent to you electronically. They will be emailed as a PDF attachment about a month after you order them. Are you only able to order GCMS notes from within canada? I am currently outside Canada, however still maintain PR eligibility

Okay so I spoke to an agent and he said: "your citizenship has been GRANTED!"And yes, I am seeing evidence everywhere that paper applications are being processed faster than online! Sad thing for me is most of my cohort of friends who applied for PR around the same time applied for citizenship on paper earlier this year and already took oath earlier this month - only 4-6 months after they had applied! My PR application was among the first in the group to be approved and I was among the first to land ... maybe my punishment was to have the longest citizenship processing time I'm just ready to move on and have this done with!
Sorry I misread your question. As a PR, you can order GCMS notes no matter where you are, so you should go ahead and order themAh ok. I am outside of Canada. So won’t be able to order then.
For 2 months after test and then after everything except oath had moved to Completed, I was checking once a day every weekday. But each time after 2 months I was too frustrated and depressed and cut back to once or twice a week as I was sick of seeing no updates and feeling like smashing my screen. How often do you guys check your tracker? I am getting a tracker checking OCD... Check it 5 times a day ughhhhhhhh I hate that...
Once a day is enough, before sleeping. I get disappointed too.How often do you guys check your tracker? I am getting a tracker checking OCD... Check it 5 times a day ughhhhhhhh I hate that...
