It is dependent on the officer and the judge availability to get the number of persons take oath a time. Hopefully, we should see the oath scheduled in April. Until then hang in there …

Traveling outside might not be a good enough reason to grant you an earlier oath date. You might want to reschedule your travel

Update: Citizenship ceremony done on 19th. We were able to download the certificate within two hours on the same day after the Ceremony. Applied for Canadian passport on the same day for express processing. Will receive passport tomorrow by 2pm. Travel plans has not been changed.. All good to travel next week… Wohoo!

Lot of Decision made people's Oath Ceremony is yet to schedule to move the next BG Pipeline task initiated. NGF IRCC works on it's own pace. :-(

Expect 1.5 to 2 months between LPP and oath scheduled then 1 month between oath scheduled and oath date

Particularly, I was wondering if the invite for an in-person ceremony will delay the timeline much more than deciding to attend the virtual ceremony on zoom.

Any change in the schedule will cause you looots of delay...I suggest going with whatever they schedule for you if you are in a rush
