Received my citizenship e-certificate today. I am a Canadian Citizen now! Thanks everyone in this group. You all have provided very valuable information during this application journey.

Congrats.! when was your oath ceremony completed? how long did it take to get the e-certificate since you sent the signed oath affirmation letter?

Thanks! I sent the signed letter at 12:17 pm and downloaded the certificate at 3:15 pm. So took 3 hours to get it.

Update here - Just received e-certificate instructions email today. I guess that's a sign that oath invite should be coming soon...

Does anybody know whether I should be signing up for the certificate portal now or I should wait after the oath to do so??

The average wait time for Niagara office seems to be 3-4 weeks.

I just got the same email! Application submitted May 27. My LPP was completed Sep 22.
