helllo
i had applied to uwo in march . since i was late for the fall 2013 term, they said theyll consider my application for the january 2014 term.. but there has been no mails from them aftaer my application was submitted,
They do send mails about the decision right?? or is there any other way to know..

Hey even i have been waiting.I applied only by the end date.They say at max by sept end they would reply.
Yes they do mail you regarding the decision.Coz for waterloo that is how i got to know tht i was rejected. :P

nop no news yet....
but they had mailed me till ol d certificates and letters were submitted... i guess theyll b sending a mail...but was wondering if there was any way i could check the status online or something

Yes you can check in student centre, they say only when a decision is made,they would change the status in student center also.UWO does not maintain step by step tracking like "Carleton University".

Btw which course have you applied for and would u mind sharing your profile?>

12th-80%
Btech-66%
Toefl-100 .unfortunately will expire soon. So I guess ill have to take again
Certificate course in embedded system design

Too good for anything but may be year of education
Or gaps you have not mentioned
I doubt with this profiles you can be rejected

As i have said i almost have the same profile preethy..... since iv got a rejection first from waterloo,i am a lil low on hopes now regarding other colls also.But embedded system design as your core might help u grab a seat.I am lookin forward for wireless communications.

Do not worry keep hope..u will get it :) ....can i know which are the colleges you have applied for?

had applied only uwo till now... but as the days go by, it keeps scaring me more n more....first f all... d fees are on d higher end and d delay in response being another reason... i guess i should start applying to more univs.... which other hv u applied to?

i guess yes,but wait for uwo,coz now fr jan 14 intake deadlines are over fr international students.Apply for may 14.Check out ottawa,carleton,concordia,manitoba..the fee's are lil less.

I have applied fr ottawa,carleton apart from uwo.
