For those of us waiting from 2019 this might be a path forward. We have tried repeatedly to get answers and IRCC has been unable to tell us anything about our applications. Enough is enough!

The gist is that for older applications there might be a legal path we can take through the mandamus process. Also, reports of people not having interviews scheduled and applications just sitting while nothing is being done.

Our application is going on 2 years and haven't heard anything from IRCC since or remedical request in July. We would happily pay $2k if it means resolving this nightmare of a process.

The incompetence of IRCC is criminal. This is very serious thing that is keeping families apart because of negligence.
