Newly born Baby outside of Canada to PR status Parents

Hello there,

Me and my wife are both Permanent Residents of Canada since 2017. We have been living and working here since then. My wife was pregnant and for some reason we wanted to get our baby delivered in our home country. She is now in our home country (India) and she will come back only after our baby is born. So what would be the process to apply for a PR Visa for our baby ??

You will need to apply for a TRV for the child. If that is refused, you can try for a TRP. If that is refused, the child will not be able to come to Canada until the PR app is approved. As a PR, you are required to live in Canada for the entire sponsorship process.
