Newfoundland LMO processing time

Hi there,
anyone recently waiting for a LMO from Newfoundland Service canada? Rang the office and they said it should take only 3 weeks but it has been 6 weeks already. The application went in on 24th April - hubby's employer submitted it but when we rang service canada the lady said never heard of the company however after looking thru the pile of paperwork she found it.

Not sure if this is a backlog issue or our employer didnt fill out the paperwork correctly.

Nightmare as we were advised to leave our job and we will be jobless as per next week :(

newfoundland and labrador has fastest processing than any other province. my girlfriend applied on 2 dec 2011 and she got positive lmo on 20 jan 2012 it was little late because of x mas holidays than after her case officer went to holidays on 2 jan 2012. i beleive i would't be too long in your case and you can contact your case officer through employer or immigration agent.

My husband's employer contacted them but havent heard anything back yet. It has been 8th week now and there wasnt any christmas break excuse either. So worried if there was any problems. I hope not. Fingers crossed.

I just got mine today! My employer applied on 24 April. It took them almost 7 weeks to get it.
 
Wow you are so lucky! May I ask what industry are you in?
we are dealing with an agency who deals about recruitment and HR for the potential employer. Now I have a reason to believe that something went wrong somewhere.

Hello everybody, can someone tell me please what is the processing times in newfoundland for LMO and are the LMO's normally positive. My employer told me they applied for LMO sometime in July but have not heard from them since.
 
hello :) :) New Foundland dn destination ko sa ngaun nag aantay nalang po ako ng VISA mejo matagal process ngaun March 1 ako nagpa Medical sa St. Lukes.. goodluck po saten :) :) :) :)
