Good to hear from you. I am also from India but right now in USA. I am nominated thru sinp and will be submitting my application to CIO for pr in few days.
I am planning to start looking for a job around regina area. Can you please guide me on how to find a job there and also an you tell me how much time would it take to get a pr after the nomination. I am in IT field with about 11 years of experience.

Hey..there is a website called saskjobs.ca.....you can always look for professional jobs on this website...it posts all jobs from different cities across Saskatchewan...for PR nothing is said but if everything works fine...I may take upto one year or little less.

My wife and I are flying off to Regina in April 2016. Is there anyone in this thread who has recently landed to Regina? How's the job market in general? How is easy or difficult is it to get survival jobs? About finding a place to rent, what are the requirements?

I'm in rural Sask SE of Regina. Jobs here are minimal, most companies are in laid off mode and lots of people just lost their job on oil rigs and related business and had to change professions (like becoming a truck driver of some sort) or simply went home.

Maybe the city is better.
