My wife is Canadian PR. We got married outside Canada and she gave birth of our child outside Canada.
Can she apply for me and my son from outside Canada? also is there any time limit within which she needs to apply.

Please help me.

There is no time limit, if your wife is a Permanent resident then she must be inside Canada to sponsor you and your son. Only Canadian citizens can sponsor from outside Canada.

SO your wife must return to Canada before she can sponsor you, then you will choose outland Sponorship.

Pinklady, from other posts i came to know that she can take the newborn baby with her by applying a TRV visa. Please let me know if you have any idea about the TRV.

Some one told me that she needs to apply within 90 days of the baby's birth. So are you sure about the time. sorry for asking again.

There is no time limit to apply for the PR which is what I thought you were asking.
I don't know very much about the TRV, but others might be able to help you there.

Just to clarify, what you're planning if for your wife to return to Canada with you son while you remain outside of Canada? Or are you planning on applying for a visit visa too?

Pinklady, you thought it right regarding the timing.

I was interested to go along with my wife and baby. I applied for the visit visa earlier before my baby was born. But the embassy refused me. After that i talked to a lawyer and he informed the that embassy would have given me the visa if my wife were in Canada. So this time i want she goes with the baby and then apply for me from there.

could i make it clear?

Where do you live now?

I am sorry, I don't know very much about applying for visit visas.
What I can tell you is that if you are living in Dubai, you would be processed through the Abu Dhabi VO and current processing time for that office is 27 months.

Applying inland would probably be faster route for you but for that you would need first to obtain a visit visa and then I am not sure about whether you need to keep legal status once you are in Canada. You will not be able to work, or study either.

You have a long road ahead of you unfortunately.
