:D So hubbys got everything together and going to drop everything off at the Embassy tommorow, he keeps asking "are they gonna ask me a whole bunch of questions, Im gonna practice everything just in case", he just cant believe the interview was waived lol hes so cute, with that being said I realized he knows more about me than I do :-* LOL

I have everything prepared for him the house is in tip top shape, I cant wait for him to get here so we can get back to normal and our baby can build her relationship with Daddy again, hes gonna be blown away with how much shes grown and her outrageous personality

As always you are all in my thoughts and prayers and there are days I couldnt survive without this forum :-* Luv you all

LETS GO KNG PICK UP THE PACE GET OUR FAMILIES REUNITED

Lonely Wifey: YAY!! ;D How very exciting for you guys!! :) When my husband dropped off his documents, they called him up and they entered his name into the computer and just confirmed that he had everything they had requested of him, and that was it! Waiting in line was the tough part as he was there hours earlier than he had to be. :P Dropping off was very painless. Now I can't remember, did you guys have to include a return courier?

LILMAYA yes he did with Tara cause he never heard of DHL go figure...do know how long it takes for them to return it?

??? Question once he gets his visa he wants to leave ASAP so can he just go to the airport and purchase a ticket or do we have to do it online, travel agent what would you guys recommend??????

Lonely Wifey : Based on forum trends... I'd say the average is between 2 - 4 weeks to get the visa back. Once you get that DECISION MADE status update on ECAS (are you signed up for the tracker?), KNG usually sends it out to the courier by the following day!! Either way... you are on the home stretch girl!!!! :D
Once he has his visa in his hot little hands, he can purchase a ticket in whichever way is most convenient/cost effective for you guys. We chose to purchase online.

Thanx LILMAYA, question when you were at this point of the process were your emotions all over the place, like happy hes coming nervous of havin everything in order, dilusional thinkn your dreaming and so on, or is that just me lol

Lonely Wifey: Not just you... ALL OVER THE PLACE is an understatement! My biggest thing was I felt like it wasn't real...like there was no way the nightmare could really be over. Maybe it's because this process is so devastatingly painful, you don't want to allow yourself to believe it.. until you see it! It's like post traumatic stress..LOL. I was running around like a mad person trying so hard to make everything just perfect.
The only advice I can give you is, all the small details you sweat to make things perfect for hubby... he will never notice because he's only focussed on you and your daughter! Try to enjoy and celebrate this moment beacuse IT IS REAL!!! Hubby is coming home!!

YO!! Posh you make it back! glad to hear your doing well! LW!!! thats amzing news! i cant wait to hear your landing story! Lilmaya... the pangs of vacation slipping away from you! 2012.. is around the corner girl! Ked's.. tick tock...how are the wedding plans going? jahlove, how you keeping girl?? Ebony.. how is your first fews weeks? hope your doing well my dear! Everyone else!! good day!!!
kng lets go!

Hello everyone, hubby has been here for one week now and he is adjusting fine. he is not working yet, so he finds it a bit hard to be in the house all day. this week we are going to look about his douments (i.e. social number, health card, drivers license etc..). i do have a question. how long do we have to wait until he gets his PR card. do they send it to him or does he have to apply for it?

For all those who are waiting, and have not heard anything for KNG, keep the faith, I waited 13 months before they sent out a letter for my husband to redo his po po record and medical and once that was done, his visa was ready in one week even though KGN told him 4 weeks, so you can just imagine how we were surprise when he got the call.

Nothing happens before its time.

hey everyone...

lil maya.. im here... i was gone at my cottage for the weekend :D I had some family that came down to visit and we had a blast...

jesusgirl... it takes 6 to 8 weeks to receive the PR card but we have been waiting 8 weeks this week and still have not received it.... i heard they got a little behind because of the postal strike a few weeks back and you can expect little delays... the PR card will come automatically in the mail... As long as the CORP was signed at customs....

THNX Ked and Niesha.......with you help I've finally figured out how to sign up for ecas.
I need a beer now!!!! :P

Jesusgirl : So glad to hear that hubby is adjusting well. It is true no matter how long you wait, just one phone call completely changes your life .. and it can come at any moment.. often when you least expect it!! Good luck with the job hunt!!

lonely_wife : How is hubby enjoying his job?
