On the list on the other forum, you were right above me (most of the dates are a little off) as we put our application in on November 1st so I was always excited to watch you get through and I still am!! Congratulations on the passport drop off. It seems like they are calling back usually in around 7 -10 and i think our worse case scenario was 2 months so I'm certain your husband will hear long before his medical expires. Most likely it will be next week!! Congrats girl!!

lonely_wife : 1 MONTH!! OMG! Your time is going by fast girl!! Getting down to the crunch, this month is going to fly by. Thanks for the encouragement. Our poor hubbies.. they are going through the same struggle and we rely so heavily on them to be strong. I am trying so hard to be the brave one these days and encourage him as much as I can. He actually sounded a bit better yesterday and even better today.

I was thinking about Iambless the other day. She has an interview coming up next week!!

Well the tickets are booked. My hubby flies to Canada on May 29th. Now we are both scrambling to be ready!

Hi family I have been reading a lot but have not been posting. I have everything I need for my interview next week, May 25. Sometimes I feel over confident about the interview and at another time very nervous. I will be going to Jamaica on Sunday.
See to it that they said that I should bring proof of my husband and I living together. Should I bring recent photos.
What I have for proof is letter from our pastor, letter from my daughter, sister, cousins and friends. I also have our bank statement that was sent, letter from world vision, where i sponsor a child from South Africa. The CAIPS that i ordered did not not show the reason for the interview. So I am thinking its because my husband is alot older than my self.
He don't want me to leave. We have been living together from 2008 and from that we have not been apart. Please have me in your prayers as I go and get my visa.
