wow this is pretty amazing. Yep they told him 2 week, when he got the call and there will be a temporary visa issued for him to leave the country that will expire on May 26. Is that what they told your hubby too.

they told my hubby 2 weeks and that they will call him back when they are done with the visa so I am thinking probably around april 21 or so... but they didnt say when his visa will expire but when hubby went there today he ask the receptionist but they couldnt tell him as they said its another department that deals with that..

Do you remember if may 26 is the date he got his medical last year?? because usually the visa expires when the medical expires which means a year...

Also Yaagirl...when did your hubby recieve his AOR?

ladyposh... they requested original docs in november... the same day my hubby got the aor he received the letter for original doc...

His medical was done on May 26/10 so i guess thats how they do it. When did your husband do his medical?

Ok....We well they have not requested for Original docs.......I am hoping that our file will be touched next as we it seems that are working on June files and I applied in July.

my husband did his on july 9, 2010... we send it after i got approved as a sponsor fedex to the kingston office... my lawyer had advised me to wait until i got approved to send it... did he ask questions when they called today... cause my hubby doesnt ask any questions... he says ok thanks ill go drop it off lol drives me nuts at times cause I am very curious and I wanna know everything....

ladyposh... in the past in happened that they ask for original doc at the same time as ppr so I wouldnt worry too much... it's soon gonna be your turn..

Thanks Lonely....I really do hope so. I am a little worried when I hear all the information you guys sent with your application becuase Idont think I sent half of it. I sent alot of pictures but I did not want to over do it. I also sent records of my home phone bill for the previous year and I sent a ltter about our relationship and how it evolved but hubby did not write a letter...

no he didn't ask any questions either, i highly doubt they would have given an answer. Well hopefully within the next two weeks they can pic up the visa, because i need him her for April 23 our anniversary. keeping my fingers crossed.

ladyposh... don't worry girl.. i never sent letters i just filled out the application send about 30 pics or so, but i send 3 years of bills home phone, cell phone, western union transaction, ezetop up phone credit history, all trips to jamaica were all broken down in different folders with boarding passes and receipts but i didnt keep them all so I put what I could find... so i came out to about 500 pages... but the bills were what took the most time... my hubby also gave me flow bills, cards that i send him, cards he send me, emails, text msg and i think thats pretty much it... lol what i wanted them to see in my application is that there is a constant communication between the two of us...

Ladyposh: Initially i didnt send in the original docs, so they requested them in November and he also rec'd the AOR in November too. I would worry about the original doc's when they request them just drop them off right away. I dont think it hinders the process at all.
