smoothes have you lived in Jamaica for more than 6 months, if not I dont think you should say you live in Jamaica,

or what you could do is instead of putting a date, make a cross reference to note, exhibit your notes, for example if the question is 22 form 224, beside the date box put "see note additional note,' then on the additional notes page, subhead form 224, Q22a, "write something like this" I am anticipating returning to Canada with my husband, at this time the date is unknown due to the uncertainity of when the application for PR will be completed, hoping for a speady processing of at least 6 months"

at least this is how I did mine for anything that I needed to write extra for.

I've lived in Jamaica a matter of years.....not months. I also work in Jamaica...I have a good paying full time job. I also have my residency in Jamaica...so I have to put I live there because its my fulltime home. I no longer have a home in Canada and havn't for some time. Originally we were planning to stay in Jamaica a very long time....but we feel that the direction we want our life to take is a direction we cannot take unless we come to Canada....so its time!! :)

I shall take your advice on the notes thing!! Thank you!

Its a serious cardio work out but alot of fun, its like you are in a salsa/soca/reggae dance class!!! I love it an will be going once a week. The hubby is gonna love the moves ive got to show him now. Zumba is all about moving your waistline. Everyone has to try it!!!

i need it I need it, OMG I so badly need a gym pathner

I have a question for anyone who can answer.

I have a job to come home to....as does my husband.

What if upon arrival we decide...hey I want a different job. Are we free to go get a different job...than the one we specify in our papers? I'm not saying this is going to happen....I'm more concerned with knowing whether we are obligated to stay with that job if we choose not to.

Also what if my husbands income can support us? Can I choose to eventually be a stay at home mom..even if my husband is not yet a citizen and only a PR????

And with this new two years conditional PR status coming in....do they monitor this to make sure your getting paid what you specified...and that your at the same job you put on your papers.

Everything I'm putting on my papers is truth and facts....but I've considered taking a bit of homeschooling for a job I've wanted to do for a long time...and this means if I do this...I might not stay at the job that I've put on my papers for the whole time my husband is a PR and not a citizen!!

Is this all making sense?

Mrs Proper : I work out at the Ymca and they have a Latin Groove class that I went to which is supposed to be very similar to Zoomba. It is soo much fun. We also have Kettlebell classes which are AMAZING!!!

what kind of sponsoring are you doing, because to my knowledge i have no idea that there obligations have a job when sponsering a spouse, I know those terms are mostly for skilled workers, to have arranged jobs will grant them more points.

but as a pr you are free to work for any employer.
anyone knows the answer to smoots question

waiting: I posted a reply to your question but i cant see it for some reason. My hubby didnt do an interview, the request to pay the permanent resident fee was received around March 9th, but the letter was dated March 2/11. The fee payment was made right away and i mailed the receipt to Mississauga by express post just so i could track it. I faxed a copy of the receipt to both embassy in kingston and Mississauga. The fee payment was received in mississaga on March 16/11 based on my express post tracking and the phone call was received today to drop off his pass port on thursday, April 7/11. He was told he should hear back within 2 weeks.

Request for original marriage certificate, birth certificate and proof of relationship was received Nov/10.

I put it as an open question for anyone to answer and someone answered. I'm filing under family class...and there is no specific specifications. I just have to have a plan to re-establish in Canada. I just do have a job to come home to....but was basically wanting to know if I was stuck with that until he was a citizen...or if I choose to stay home eventually and let him work I could.

Not that I'm even going to do it. But with all this confusion...I just want to make sure I know whats up so I don't ever make mistakes that could jepordize his status.

If you havn't figured it out yet....I'm like a very specific organized type of person....I feel like I need to be on top of every detail so I can do everything by the book...or not so much by the book as I'm kinda a free spirit in some ways....but just knowing whats up so I have a full grasp on the situation. Living in Jamaica was a shock to my system LOL LOL LOL....cuz nothing is by the book.

not funny lil, i already make a room in my basement available, that will be our anniversay runs, because i dont think we can stay upstairs with dem kids, lmao, DWL

Rand: Did you try to call in inquire about the pass port?

Smoothies, you are the sponser correct? you mentioned needing evidence to re- establish yourself, did this come from your package? If not Im thinking the rules are the rules, you need not have obtained or obatin gov. assistance, which mean you need to have a job to come to, the CIC can take away free will, your not applying for a wrking visa, so are free like anyone to wrk for whom ever.

Waiting: Not so sure im next lol, we filed in november and not july... im just behind lilmaya.

I'm kinda curious on the whole thing of kingston asking for proof of relationship when they ask for your original birth and marriage certificate. Do you have to find fresh proof, meaning pics, letters, phone bills other than the ones you sent in the first time with your application. Just wondering if they actually send the stuff we sent when they transfer our files to kingston or if they just need more proof on top of what youve already given.

PROPS FOR ME THEY ASK FOR EVERYTHING again, and even after we submit them with the originals again they still ask for more to bring when he was going to interview, which we had nuttin left, good thing his b/d had just pass so we sent lots of cards, and picks, all of me n kids a few more western union papers, they didnt even look at it but still they asked.

and never say never, its not unusual for ppl to get thru in 5 or 6 months you know, i still think you should email them abt the death in ur fam you dont know you might just be exceptional and they process you quicker all things are possible just believe...

Congrats Yardgirl.....

I think I should be up next if I am not mistaken.....because I filed my application in Jily and KGN received it on Sept. 3, 2010. They have not requested original docs from us yet though or an interview????
