Newbies welcome here, applicants sponsoring for Jamaica

So i have a question.....

LMF2011 along with a few other people all show ECAS updates of March 17. The dates that they submitted their applications range from October 10 to October 26 but all updated on March 17th.
I think Butterfly was one who got the call already. The other one was Can-indy-jam who we haven't heard from in a bit so we don't know if she got a call and last in date order is LMF2011 who is anxiously awaiting a call. Does Kingston mass update ECAS and then work through a batch of dates? Has anyone noticed everyone having the same ECAS update date before?

My date is November 1st... 6 days after LMF2011 but my ECAS hasn't changed and i'm wondering if i'm close or not close at all :-[

I wouldn't worry lilmaya. It seems there are alot of people whose applications are moving along nicely and so I'm sure your stauts will be changed on ECAS soon.

Im also waiting to hear back from waiting about Mr.Waiting fingers crossed everything is going smoothly!!
Lilmaya... My application was received By Kingston on October 13... still says application received. I have a feeling there is going to be one big mass update. They only update the Permanent Resident section quarterly... and the last time they updated was when everyone got medical received on their ECAS...

I think June is going to be the month.... I feel it!!

Ladies...my file has been in KGN since Sept. 3rd, 2010 and we have only received the AOR in November and nothing since except for the weird msgs on ECAS and then they disapppear....it only says Application received on Sept. 3rd......

I am hoping it will be soon because I think our Police Check expires in May and meds in June.....dat mean seh more money affi gu spen.....I think dis ting is a money making ting...lol

Sanchester : Morning Girl. So let me ask you this.. you received an AOR letter in November? Since AOR letters have remained a mystery to me, can you tell me what the processing time said on your letter? I have heard people say that the time on your letter may differ from the time on the website (15 months)

Morning Lilmaya,

The AOR stated that applications recieved at this office take around 6 months to process. It also said that if an interview is required, they will provide 2 month notice of the interview date.

It will be 6 months in April that they've had the application, I have no idea whats going on.

ladyposh: A money making tin fi real!! What did your AOR say as far as processing time? You know trying to figure this ish out is impossible and in my head i know this.. i really do. But somehow it makes me feel better pretending i've got it all figured out.

Sanchester : So in April you would be able to contact your MP if you wanted to go that route? 2 months notice??? They gave Waiting 2 weeks notice. LOL. Crazy!

I contacted my Mp last month and she got back to me and they told her that my application hasnt started processing yet and that it takes an average of 16 months to process.

They work on their own time. So it confuses me.

Sanchester: Girl if i knew then what I know now, I would have sent in my original marriage certificate for sure but we didn't send any originals. Did you?
From what i understand is that if your AOR letter says 6 months, then your MP will get involved. If your AOR letter is the same as the immigration website (15-16 months) they will tell you they can not get involved until that time.
