LOL...was sixteen a good year for you NMH...thats such a random age. Wouldn't you rather be turning eighteen? Or twenty? Or twenty one? And then you'd be legal, young, and able to fully live life. I've decided to grow old with grace. I don't ever want to get old, but why cling to being young when you can't stop the process, and their is blessing in every stage. You wouldn't want to be twenty forever because there is something in the next stage you wouldn't want to miss. But when you in the next stage you will miss being twenty LOL...funny how that works!

I want to embrace each stage. I enjoyed the heck outta my teen/earliest couple years of my twenties. I LOVE LOVE LOVE being married and having a daughter. Now I want to enjoy expanding my family. Then the early years! Then the school years, then watching them graduate and getting to go enjoy hubby and me time again with just us. Then being a grandparent and growing older watching grandkids grow up and have their own kids and knowing we started this entire line of people!!

Really its an amazing journey...its just human nature to want to live forever and be young always!! But in reality, I think being young forever would grow really old and you'd crave the blessings that come through out every stage of life.

Just my thoughts on the topic lol...but I'm not gonna lie and say I'm not DREADING turning twenty five and being a quarte of a century. I'm not gonna lie and say getting older doesn't scare me, but I'm gonna try and enjoy it still!

I just give thanks to god that i live to see 29 cause so many people didnt even live to see 20.SQ yes i agree with you that we should grow to see our grandkids.i love it when i was 25

Ive been crazy busy, Im being layed off June 30, and been at job interviews, and doing my side job int he evenings, trying to make sure that i have some savings in place if i dont find a great job, then i can go in E.I and not be sooo stresses waiting those 6 weeks!

As a fellow Alberta girl..I agree...we are a tough breed. We sleep with bears, wrestle wolves, eat the bush cats before they eat us...lol....shall I go on? Hahaha this made my day and made me laugh!!

OH ya SQ!! I look at grizzly bears.. and say.."what!" We keep wolves as house pets!, and we are more afraid of cougars that dress up in animal print, than the ones that stalk our asses in the bush...ahahhaha My husband don have a clue.. I told him, he better get used to living with "alberta nature" because I love to camp.. he told me the only jamaican who sleeps outside on purpose .. is.. HOMELESS.. he got jokes! I told him he is half way there when he sent me a picture of him roast yams on the road... im like see! your a camper!!!! not sure if he is on the same page!
