Wow I wonder what's going on, no updates today, not happy about that at all.

Ok I dunno if this is anything to get excited about, perhaps someone can tell me. But just check E-cas and it got updated to " Application Recieved" on the PR/Jamaican side.

Is this something to be excited about...or a normal update? It was recieved June 2nd 2011. I'm a lil happy about that I must say!! Does this mean they are processing it? Or just that its there?

Wow...so this means they looked at it? It seems rather quick...not that I'm complaining though lol!!

If they are in the file and there isn't anything they need to ask for...does this mean we could get processed fairly quickly? Or just that they glanced at it and now it joins the waiting line?

Sorry...twenty questions I know...but I'm freaking excited hehe!! My first update from the Kingston side...it feels like Christmas!!

SQ - it means they didnt send by canada post. they rec'd it and if they follow process ur next update will be AOR....or not like many of us. u are officially in da KGN line now girl

c'mon KGN. we need to hear ur progress on dem files. a phone call or courier would be ideal LOL

AOR?? What is that? So this still means I have a nice likely long wait ahead of me. But I'm in the line...yipeeee...thats still exciting!! Thanks for the congrats...I've been dancing around my house like a lunatic!!

SmoothiesQueen : Congrats on the update. I think this is the one process that is actually pretty standard. Once your file is received in KNG they update ECAS to say application received. In my case, my application was received November 1st in Mississauga, Approved December 6th and received in KNG December 14th which is when i got my first update. 6 months later, that was the one and only update I had ... until recently when it changed to IN PROCESS. An AOR is supposed to be a standard process too but it's not. Once your file is received, KNG is supposed to send out a Acknowdgement of Receipt letter but that has not happened for the majority of applications after November 2010.

Ahh ok...thanks for breaking it down Lil Maya. So this is really not that exciting of an update...but its still exciting in the sense that I know its there and thats what counts!

SmoothiesQueen : In my opinion.. ANY update is an exciting one. There is always the fear that the file doesn't make it to it's destination... and with little to no communication with KNG, there is no way to confirm that it did. This update can give you some peace of mind.. it's there.. and the next step is processing it... so you are on your way. I'd say that's exciting.

Lol well I tend to get very excited when I see this file moving...so I'm sure you guys have many estatic, like capitalized posts coming from me in the future LOL!!

I am glad to know that it made it. I think I just got overexcited and had visions dancing through my head of being one of those three monthers lol!! But truely, I'm just beginning my wait, and I'm content to wait my turn.

Right now I'd like to see some well deserving, long waiting people get through like Ebony, whose wait has been going on far to long. I'd like to see Kingston get to them first and formost!!

Good morning all, i am truly hoping for some great news today, we have so much rain out here, its frightening. However I don't think the rain should affect the kgn office, lol, they need to wake up and start doing what they are being paid to do, lol, they are much too quiet lol. But as the quote said God is God and h always delivers.


Have a blessed good news filled day all. Now back to bed for me YES!!!!!
