New York VAC passport return time

Just double checked my status. It just shows "Visa application, tracking ID No. has been dispatched to the IRCC Office, on 2018/11/28 for processing. " But it does not say the IRCC Office has received the passport. My friend's status is "The IRCC Office has received your passport and it is under processing now." Anyone knows the difference between these two status? Thanks.

I takes a day or two for that status to update

Passport received by VSC New York : Nov 28, 2018

Talked to VSC through chat service on Nov 29th and they told it might take upto 2 weeks for tracking number as there are lot of applications to process.

Visa application, tracking ID No.<> has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on 2018/12/10

Visa application, tracking ID No. <> – Your processed decision envelope has been dispatched from the IRCC Office, on 2018/12/11 and is on transit through the VAC in (HUB City) to the Canada Visa Application Centre in New York.

I received the first message on 11/28. No other update since then. It has been two weeks...

hello, please help.
I sent my passport for visitor visa stamping on 6th Feb 2024 to VFS New York from Dallas, Texas. On the 12th Feb, I got an acknowledgment that VFS received my passport and same day sent it to IRCC and also received it at the IRCC office for stamping.
On the 13th Feb, I received an update that the package was dispatched from IRCC to VFS NYC. After that, there is no update. Scared that my passport got lost or not. what should I do and what delays does anyone else expect as of now?
