New York office..Has anyone got PPR recently?

I completed my medical check in September 14th and my DMP office confirmed that they sent the report at the end of September.

When can I expect PPR?

Did anybody get PPR from New York office recently? and How long did it take since medical check?

I couldn't wait anymore and emailed NY office and they reply with the following information.

"Thank you for your email. Our records indicate your file in queue for processing. This office will contact you if more documents are required or when a decision has been made."

This means my file is still waiting to be processed???

I sent my PR application back in October 2010 and Medical is done end of September 2011 . Also, RPRF was sent end of September 2011.

How can my application NOT in process yet???? I don't understand...

They probably just don't want you to think that the process will be done soon.

Hi Misun,
I too got my medicals request on Sept 5, 2011. Waiting for passport request since then.
My file is in NY and I am too Oct2010 applicant.

I see on trackitt that NY folks with medicals in july/august are getting their passport request in Oct/Nov

Probably we are in line and should be getting it in next 15-30 days. Hope for the earliest.

Actually, I got the passport request from the Consulate general of Canada via email today!!!!

I'm super excited!! What a relief!!!

Hi paulharry,

I received the email on 17th in the morning. They asked me to submit my passport. So, I think it means they accepted my application?

My whole body was shaking like a leaf when I saw the email! Lol

I hope you get the good news soon too!

Hi Misum,

Are you in US/Canada ? I got the request as well from NYC consulate to send passport on 21 Nov and sent them on 22nd Nov, received them on 23rd. My decision made status changed recently to Decision made.... I am still waiting for passport from them.

Did you received yours ?
