Hello

Im looking for advice, I am a UK citizen who recently lost my status as a temp. worker and since then have applied to reinstate as a visitor.

In the meantime, my prospective employer applied for an LMO and just received a positive 2 year approval.

So I can start work, can I do a flagpole run for my new visa and what documents do I need

You need your LMO/contract/job offer/your passport and CAD$150.00. Hopefully your job type does not require medicals.

Great thanks.

I would assume i also need proof of my current status in canada.

No medical for my job, so i am good there.

I have a letter saying that i will be employed pending LMO approval rather than a contract though.

You would have complied with the temporary nature of your status when you exit, but no harm in bringing your VR and your old WP.

Ok thanks

I have;
LMO Approval
Letter saying i will be employed (signed and on letterhead)
Resume
copy of degree cert for education requirements
Awards obtained from university
current visitors visa
old work permit
letter saying when i lost my status
English Test cert
UK Passport
References of employers (past 2 employers)

Surely this is enought, if there is anything else please let me know.

You should have pictures.

All you really need are the LMO, the offer letter, your completed application and the relevant fee (which can be paid by credit card.) CBSA personnel handle this all the time, so they are quite comfortable with it in my experience. Check the CBSA website (http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/twfp-ptet/twfp-ptet-eng.html) for the actual official listing of what you need.
