I sent in my application yesterday via same-day courier. It was vital that it land in the mailroom yesterday because my work visa expires today, and I need to benefit from implied status.
Yes, we took our time getting it together -- so much, in fact, that I had a USA police certificate completed in June 2018. I applied for a new police certificate about a month ago, knowing it "expires" in a year, but hadn't received it by the time we had to send in the application. So we sent the for-now-still-valid June 2018 PC.
I have now received the new PC. Should I send it to the office immediately with a cover letter with my name, my sponsor's name, and my UCI, or should I wait until I have an AoR and a case number to reference?
If it matters, both police certificates are identical with the exception of the date, and show a clean record. I am American with a Canadian citizen sponsor, applying inland.
Thanks!
