New Update regarding fingerprints

Hi all,

Okay so when I called cic call centre yesterday I was told that all my background checks have been completed etc and my file is ready to be scheduled for the test soon. its been almost 3 months since I sent my fingerprints. does anyone here know how long it can take for me to get the test invitation letter? anybody else in same situation?

You should get the letter very soon, I would say 2-3 weeks. Good Luck
 
oh okay sounds good. I checked the mail today and got nothing so I guess i will just wait. Is it true that after the test your interview happens ad you take your oath immediately?
 
I was requested finger prints twice (since the finger print result is valid only for a year). I saw from my ATIP report that CIC processed finger prints results in 2-3 weeks after the finger prints were done.
 
so, how long do they give you to prepare for your test? like from the date of the notice till the date of the test invitation?
 
Scarborough is not issuing oath letter same day as test now. I did my test on 24th OCT and now waiting for oath.
 
so how long was the process after the test? did you get interviewed? did they ask for any specific documents after your test?
 
Test was easy, and interview was short as well. You have nothing to worry about i recommend you to read the book a couple of times and do online practice test
