New rules- How many applications would have been mailed so far?

Do we have tracker here how many have sent so far since October 11th.

I don't know how many who applied are actually members here.

Any stats on how many applications cic normally gets every week / month ?

It seemed that everywhere I went yesterday and today, I saw individuals clutching citizenship applications and on their way to UPS, Canada Post, etc. I think a lot of people are applying. When I was in a UPS Store yesterday afternoon, the fellow behind the counter was already an expert on shipments to Sydney -- he had a whole assembly line of applicants he was working.

my cousin work at canada post and he said his whole day they are 99.99% busy with citizenship applications, the amount is so enormous and everyone pay top dollars to get the fastest delivery method. It is insane!

The morning I dropped my application off at purolator I didn’t fill out any address form, since the lady behind counter already knew that address by heart after handling a bunch of those envelopes before I came in lol

That also solved the myth of whether the $630 fee was the main cause (aside from the obvious true reason) that the number of applications went down by half last year - now people are not only paying it all together , they are also choosing to pay highest shipping cost. Clearly people can afford it if they really want it
