Good Morning,

I had a question brought to my attention this morning, and I am not sure the answer, so I thought I would ask all of you
Someone I know wants to bring a family member to Canada to take care of their child in their home. They know that a job offer has to be obtained, but was asking if the job offer has to come from an actual company or just can come from the family.

I searched online, but I could not find my answer. Can someone help?

It has to come from the employer. Whoever will be employing the caregiver

If the employer is an individual and not a company, does he/she have to have a CRA business number? In the imm5983e form there is a field for CRA business number.

Yes, Call CRA and provide your SIN to CRA. They will setup employer Payroll number for you (Business number).

Hi everyone. Good day. I just want to know about the new pilot program if I need to change to that program or continue to the current program that I am working now. Because I am worried if I can apply for PR after my current program will end. It really makes me confuse if I need to or not.
