Hi
That seems little logical.

Health card expires in may-2017
Passport expires in Feb-2017
Driving license expires in Oct-2017.

Thanks.
OHIP is supposed to expire on your birthday, btw, I don't know why, but that is what all PR holders and Citizens that I know have on their cards... The only logical conclusion to all this is that it depends on the Service Ontario officer who issues it... Otherwise I am just as confused as everyone else, it is sort of random...

I thought i am only one who has 3 year valid card.

Lady who issued card told me this card will be valid for 3 yrs and expire on birthdate. (3 years , 2 days valid card) :)
She also told, after this card any renewal card will be with 5 yrs validity.
That time i did not about 5 yrs valid health card otherwise i would have asked her about this validity.
Thanks.

Hi Guys!

I recently renewed OHIP health card for me and my family members and all three card have different validity period. Please find the details as follows :

For me : Validity given is 2.3 year until my birthday in 2023. My Driver's license is valid upto 2024 and passport is expiring in Nov 2021.

For my wife : Validity given is 6.6 year until her birthday in 2027

For my kid : Validity given is 2.7 years until kids birthday in 2023.

Can anyone please share any recent experience about the criteria of giving different validity?

All of our CoPRs have same issue date and expiry date.
