Hi guys. Here's my timeline:
I'm looking at submitting my tax return(s) now. I have a new SIN when I became PR and cannot access My CRA on either my old account details (tied to my old SIN) or my new SIN (I get an error when trying to sign up).
I have a few questions:
1. Can I use SimpleTax again (used for '15 and '16)?
2. I seem to have forgotten to submit for 2017. Can I still submit with no penalty?
3. My common-law partner submits her taxes with her mom's accountant. Would it be simpler to try and have them do this?
4. Do I need to sort out My CRA online access first?
- Arrived in Canada in Apr 2015 (Working Holiday Visa)
- 2015 - tax return submitted
- 2016 - tax return submitted
- Left Canada in Oct 2017
- Lived in Scotland for 2018
- Returned to Canada July 2019
- Became PR in Oct 2019
- Started working Nov 2019
