Hie , could you please tell what is normal processing time of an application ?
Hi, IRCC updates it’s processing time during pandemic weekly on their website for CEC. As per the current updates made yesterday they are finalizing applications submitted in Feb 2nd week. So, if your AOR is before this period and you are waiting for a considerable time for CoPR after uploading everything, I guess you can definitely ask for an update. Although the timelines are complete BS, it’s posted on their official website and we can quote them to enquire about our case.

IRCC account shows my T.... document was issued on August 29 and expires on September 10. No eCoPR yet. What to do?
Same situation but the expiry date is different.
My T---- document was issued on July 26th BUT expires on Nov 27th. Haven't received eCoPR yet..
I even raised a webform but the reply I got was like below. Which means they are not gonna do anything for my request..

""""In order to respond to a high volume of enquiries related to the crisis in Afghanistan, we have needed to shift resources in our Client Support Centre. This will impact our ability to respond to some of your enquiries.

We will respond to these priority enquiries only:
· Clients in crisis situations (like those affected by the situation in Afghanistan)
· Clients facing vulnerable circumstances (emergency and urgent requests)
· Clients who need to tell us about a change in their circumstances, which has a direct impact on their application (like marriage, birth of a child, or similar)
· Clients who are submitting documents requested by one of our officers
· Changes in contact information
· Requests to withdraw an application or refunds

If your enquiry is NOT one of the priority enquiries listed above, you will not receive a reply.
If you included attachments with your enquiry, rest assured that they will be added to your file shortly.'"""

@yasirhashmi15 A similar situation to yours happened with my friend too and he got COPR after 5 days. File transferred to Etobicoke last Wednesday and got COPR on Monday. He was a single applicant though! I hope it is a good sign and you too get it soon bro!

I guess you have already replied to the 2nd email From Etobicoke explaining the situation. If So,It shouldn’t take long. All the best!

@Member0587 It's just to get an update on your PR card.

Linking PR Card application;

1. Login into your CIC account as you usually do.

2. Reach the page where you click "Check full application status" to view your application and messages

3. But do not click on that rather click on " Add (link) your application to your account"

4. Select the "Category" from the dropdown as "Permanent Resident Card"

5. Under Application Details, from "Please select one" select "Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and Family Name"

6. Put your UCI as it is NO SPACES and NO HYPHES

7. Put your Family Name as on you CoPR - UPPER and LOWER CASE matter here

8. The tricky one, Place of Birth Section. Here "City/town of birth" is very very crucial. Copy it as it is on your CoPR, any commas, upper/lower case, spaces, just copy it here.

9. Select your "Country/territory of birth" from the drop down

10. Next section is pretty easy as you just select your "Date you became a permanent resident" from dropdown. This is the day you did your landing by either flagpole or landing interview

11. Put "Country of Citizenship" and "Current marital status" from dropdowns.

12. Click "Search for my application", if all the inputs are correct then it will show you that the system has found your application. You just have to click Link my application to account and it will now be shown on "View the applications you submitted" page with your Permanent Residency application.
