New PR confirmation portal

Hello guys ..
me and my husband applied for PR under CEC. My husband is in india and he doesnt have any visa to travel to canada.
We got our first email for pr confirmation portal. I sent all the required details to get the login password. In return i got email from IRCC that they will process my application once my spouse will be back. I informed the agent back that he doesnt have any visa to travel to canada. The agent mailed us to contact IRCC.
Now what i am concerned about is how we can further process our file as my husband doesnt have the visa and IRCc has not emailed me the temporary password for portal.
if anybody knows what to do or have faced similar situation , please reply back.

You'll likely end up stuck for at least a month if you do because of Canada Day and the gapped long weekend. Be patient and enjoy the weekend. You can respond next week and that will likely increase your odds of getting it within days instead of months.

I am really worried now, they sent me the invitation portal email on June 24, and I replied on June 25 but until now i have not received the second email which is user name and password to log it (credential). I emailed them three times already but nothing news. my VO is in calgary.

the more u reply them, the longer it takes for them to send your credentials.

What people are not aware of is that, the second emails are sent out according to when applicants replies the first email..ie like when u submit an application to IRCC, it is processed according to when they received it…for instance, if it takes them 10 days to process replies and u replied on the 25th after 10 days u should hear from them (that is assuming they only take 10 days to send out credentials as it could be longer or shorter depending on the VO and amount of load they have), so let’s say u sent 3 more replies and the last reply was the 30th then it will be 10 days from that last reply as your message goes down the queue with a new reply date so just be patient and wait u will get it eventually when they get to your turn.

Don’t be worried , it’s normal these days .. I have seen upto 2 weeks to get second email..

I am waiting after second email since May 28 ( yes May, not June )

Well I sent to the portal the last couple times, but got no answer. Until I tried the CIC-Etobicoke-Landings@cic.gc.ca today, then I got the ECOPR right after. May be it's a coincidence but definitely worth the shot. Try it and let me know

I used the above idea and just replied to the credential email asking for a status update. Received the eCoPR in the next 15 mins of the follow up. Highly probable this was also a coincidence but no harm in sending a follow up email.

I received portal credentials on June 10, 2021, and email to download eCoPR June 30, 2021.

Sorry to disagree with you here, but every case will be processed at random. There’s no such thing as this elusive queue in IRCC’s system. Just because another person applied the same day as you, has the same VO, hell, even if they share the same surname and are towing in their nan and six little rascals as dependants, their case could be processed in 2 days and yours by the next reincarnation of the Dalai Lama. “Ackchyually, true randomness doesn't exist in the universe", you say? I think, like many waiting as long as or longer than I have, I’ve transcended into the realm of stoic enlightenment. First thing I’d do when I get the COPR is to go into my bathroom and look at my own ugly mug in the mirror as well. That face, I’m sure I’d never forget seeing!

Thank you for updating PR card timelines. Did you send physical photos as well to Visa office or just uploaded it on the portal for processing?.

I just uploaded everything to the portal, nothing physical.

I haven’t received my COPR yet !
But folks who are waiting on the COPR, don’t worry.
I just received my GCMS notes (applied May15) , which clearly mentions my COPR# and says the COPR is in print queue assigned to offices “SM8376”
And based on the availability of yhe officer assigned to it will start releasing those COPRs.
I see may 25-31 , timeline people are waiting for COPR , probably all those applications are assigned to same officer.
Let’s hope for the best and expect our COPRs this weekend.

No location.
BTW , I’m resident of Calgary,Alberta.

Hi my case is assigned to the same officer. I uploaded my picture to the online portal on June 1st 2021 and it has been a month but haven't received the COPR yet....
