What if you have created account by mistake on the portal?
I by mistake did on 22nd May when I received the first email and replied afterwards on the same day!
Haven't received the credentials yet, I have spoken to IRCC and they said they have all the correct information required as per the work notes of the officer.

@Manmohak Don't worry. There are people who created portal accounts themselves and I don't think they got credentials e-mail. They logged into their accounts and found the details there. You may try logging in and check if you are able to see a record with your details.

Hi People,
I received the PR confirmation portal email twice on May 21 and May 24. I responded both times in the following format:

I am a single principal applicant. Please see below details as requested:
Name:
UCI:
Email (as set out in the message):
Original entry date:
Date of last time entered Canada:
Location (Port of entry):

Is the above format correct? I didn't add any Option A or B because I don't have any dependents, and also didn't add any separate line for personal email. Maybe the reason for receiving the same email twice was something incorrect in the above format?

Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Hey any updates? I have Already sent my photo and confirmed my name and address in the portal but today I got the pdf email again.

Very happy for all the Outland applicants! However, keep in mind that the COPR is only valid for entry once and only if you’ve received it whilst abroad. It’s not a travel document and you won’t be able to leave and return to Canada with it. You’ll need the PR card or a PRTD for that.
That is correct. Moreover this news is applicable for people who are outside of Canada. It is better to check with IRCC before travelling. Unless it is necessary, pls delay the travel for a month and by then you should get your PR.

@legalfalcon What if he is in Canada when he was issued COPR and if he wants to travel outside now. I believe his work permit would have been invalidated when the COPR was issued right and he should apply for PRTD to come back in right ? please share your thoughts.

If you received a cOPR, which is signed and stamped, you will need a PRTD or a PR card to return to Canada.

I received my credentials on May 26 and provided all details on the portal same day. Waiting for eCOPR since then.
Maybe replying back with the same information again won't hurt and you could add a note at the end saying you've already provided info on the portal

@legalfalcon i have submitted my photo and other details in the portal, but today again i have received the initial pr portal email two times, one for myself one for spouse both in my email address. Should i be worried? This is over all 4 th time i received the email and my wife also received 2 times. Please suggest if i should take any action

Its a technical glitch. Send a webform to confirm if your pics and details have ben received and inform that you have received 4 emails.

Thank you for this question @satya1986 , and thank you so much @legalfalcon for the answer. Please @legalfalcon , what if my TRV has expired as of when I travel out of Canada without a PR Card? Can I fly back into Canada with an eTA or PRTD? And what happens in a circumstance that the PR Card later arrives while I am outside Canada and I get someone to courier it to me? Can I use it (PR) to get back into Canada (assuming this becomes a risk I have to take :) )

If you have received a cOPR, you have a PR and you do not need a visa to enter canada.

You will need a PRTD (which is a one time entry visa for PRs who do not have a PR card. Once used, it expires and only has a validity of 6 months) or a PR card.

Yes, you can get the PR card shipped. However, beware that it may be confiscated, see #11,743

@legalfalcon question about eCopr errors. I have both my original and last entry days wrong by one day (I'm not sure why they entered the 20th of January instead of the 19th). Is it something that I should ask them to fix? Can I still sign the eCoPR to use it for updating my SIN, health card, driver license, etc? Thanks in advance for any guidance. I think @andreynitro had similar issues. Also, is this going to be an issue for renewing PR card or Citizenship?

Its a minor error and would not matter. To have the document amended you can send a webform. In Most cases IRCC will ask you to follow this link:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...dence-valid-temporary-resident-documents.html

However, if your name, date of birth and personal details is correct, including your UCI, you need not worry.
