@legalfalcon can you/someone please help me with this.
I am currently waiting for eCoPR (along with 2 dependents), after submitting In-Canada declaration at PR Confirmation Portal on Jun 8th. The status of all these three correct records is "In review with IRCC" (refer last 3 records in the table below). Everything good till here.
However, when I logged into my account today, I see an additional redundant record for myself in the list of applicants (1st one in the table). It has my correct application#, name and DoB, but a strange 10 digit UCI which I have never seen before (status of which is "Initiated"). Other three records are intact with correct UCI of 8 digits.
I am unsure how this unexpected record mysteriously appeared in my account and what I should do.

People, are we sure that the applications are ready for CoPRs? Maybe they are sending the emails just to save up some processing time.

People who got eCoPR through portal don’t need to apply for PR card right? they will just send it to you since you provided your photo and address in the portal.

I don’t understand when should people link their PR card application to CIC account?

@Chilling.Lion Once you update your address and upload photo in the PR portal, You are done from your end and IRCC will issue a PR card. To track if there are any updates to your PR card processing, people advise us to link the PR card application to CIC account as the updates are not right in the portal. For eg: People who got PR card has their photo status as "IN REVIEW WITH IRCC" still. The real status can be monitored if you can link your PR card application to the CIC account.

something is messed up. I think you can try to call IRCC, UCI could be of 10 digits e.g. my UCI is of 10 digits. But the strange part is the same Application #

I'd suggest censoring out those UCI and application # values from your post asap ( for obvious reasons )

Sometimes I think doing it the old way, like meeting an immigration agent, and just having an entire set up for desinfectants etc etc like in many other places, would have been maybe faster...but again, maybe those appointments would have been like 1 month away, so just a thought

Oh wow.. Got me :D

In other news, we finally received the COPR !! Been waiting since submitting address and photo on May 17th!
I kept following up by email (the same email address that sent the info about PR confirmation portal) even though they didn't reply. Yesterday I replied stating that I'm concerned there may be an issue with my portal account (which is stuck in "In review with IRCC" status) so I just added address and photo info in the email, kindly asking them to expedite the process.. and today they provided the COPR! Address has been accepted in the portal, while Photo is still in review.

I haven’t received my COPR yet !
But folks who are waiting on the COPR, don’t worry.
I just received my GCMS notes (applied May15) , which clearly mentions my COPR# and says the COPR is in print queue assigned to offices “SM8376”
And based on the availability of yhe officer assigned to it will start releasing those COPRs.
I see may 25-31 , timeline people are waiting for COPR , probably all those applications are assigned to same officer.
Let’s hope for the best and expect our COPRs this weekend.

We’re almost there !

ps: 1st email which I received was from
Virtual landing unit , operations service center.
No location.
BTW , I’m resident of Calgary,Alberta.

When you say record, are you referring to a new application which shows as submitted?
