@Temitee002 how did u do it? I have tried all the options...nothing works.
@vik222512 this is the step I followed- posted by someone else

Linking PR Card application;
1. Login into your CIC account as you usually do.
2. Reach the page where you click "Check full application status" to view your application and messages
3. But do not click on that rather click on " Add (link) your application to your account"
4. Select the "Category" from the dropdown as "Permanent Resident Card"
5. Under Application Details, from "Please select one" select "Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and Family Name"
6. Put your UCI as it is NO SPACES and NO HYPHES
7. Put your Family Name as on you CoPR - UPPER and LOWER CASE matter here
8. The tricky one, Place of Birth Section. Here "City/town of birth" is very very crucial. Copy it as it is on your CoPR, any commas, upper/lower case, spaces, just copy it here.
9. Select your "Country/territory of birth" from the drop down
10. Next section is pretty easy as you just select your "Date you became a permanent resident" from dropdown. This is the day you did your landing by either flagpole or landing interview
11. Put "Country of Citizenship" and "Current marital status" from dropdowns.
12. Click "Search for my application", if all the inputs are correct then it will show you that the system has found your application. You just have to click Link my application to account and it will now be shown on "View the applications you submitted" page with your Permanent Residency application.
13. If after clicking "Search for my application" it show no application found, click Try again and try to input all the values carefully again. Each day it allows you 5 attempts. It it still doesn't find your application, you can try again the next day.

Hi Temitee002, Can I ask you something about GCkey? I have a representative and they have control over it. If I have to link my pr card on GCkey, do I need to cancel the representative first, or can I just create a new linked account for myself?
Since I cannot find any other ways of tracking the pr card status, except linked GCkey or contacting IRCC for the info. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Ask them for your log in ID and password and use them. You can both still access the information
Hi Kevin2020, thank you for your reply.
I have asked them previously, but they won't give me access, my representative says their account may contain different client's info. So they cannot give the account to me. I don't know whether this is an excuse from them or what. So I cannot link my account from it. But I would like to give it a try, to see how it's going for my pr card.
If nothing works, I plan to add 6 weeks from the day I get COPR and check my mailbox regularly.:)

The representative should not have exclusive rights to the account. It does not makes sense that they would not allow you access to your own account. You need it for future dealings with canadian got and IRCC should you apply for citizenship or want to bring a relative to Canada.
Hi Kevin2020 again, so I don't know whether should I cancel the representative or should I built a new account from that situation. Btw, I couldn't check my application on GCkey because of that. On ECAS, it doesn't show anything related to the PR card, but only a complete PR application.

Hi vik222512, I was looking for some info on linking the application lately. Here is what I found on their website regarding to your questions.

Online applications: After we receive your application, it may take up to 5 days for you to see it in your account. We are working to make this wait time shorter. If your application does not appear after 5 days, contact us and report a technical problem. This issue will not delay processing of your application.

man i'm in a same boat, however i have my own account too which i used when getting work permit and TRV. so basically WP/TRV application is in one account, and PR is in another - there is no problem with it. They show same UCI number for me and my dependents, so just go and create new GC account and use it for linking..

No they don’t give me
Hi Jasaman, I am in the same situation here. I will try to create a new GCkey tonight, and see if it's working.
If that works, I will tag you here later. ;)
