Hi Melikaaaaaaaa, you can change your job once you have notified your provincial about your new PR status in Canada. And you can work anywhere at any time now. As long as your new company does't have a requirement of being a citizen to work for them. You are all good, and you can say goodbye to your old boss.;)
Thanks Vvin :) , oh so when I get my COPR I need to inform BCPNP? I have to email them or ..., I didn't know that I need to report them about my job after getting COPR and PR

Because they pretend only they are crazy people out there
How much time do you think we are going to have to wait until we get the ecopr? are u going to send them emails until you get PR?

Nah, not about your job. Because they nominate you in the first place. So telling them about the E-COPR just to let them closed the files. Anyway, you can double-check with BC. I am sure about it for Manitoba's nomination.

Specific steps for Manitoba Provincial Nominees
  • You must include a copy of your MPNP approval letter in your PR visa application.
  • Follow all directions in your approval letter, paying particular attention to the date: your nomination is valid for six months.
  • You must submit to IRCC your visa application, complete with IRCC fees, before your nomination expires; if you do not, IRCC will not accept your application.
  • During the visa process you must notify both IRCC and the MPNP of address or family changes.
  • Nominees currently working in Manitoba: do not let your work permit expire; follow instructions below.
  • Once you receive from IRCC your permanent resident status you must notify the MPNP.

What about non PNP applicants?
For example : My case , I am CEC inland , non-PNP, I have received CoPR. Also received new SIN number. I am waiting for PR card. Can I change my employer?

@Melikaaaaaaaa I think you were right you don't need to notify them because BC will close the files automatically. Thanks.
"Once IRCC has concluded processing of your permanent residence application, your BC PNP nomination is closed."(Pages. 15)

and they mention something about post-nomination previously.
"If you were nominated with a paper application (submitted prior to July 2015), please send an email to PNPPostNom@gov.bc.ca"(Pages. 06)

Hi svk.dec25, yes, as long as you have your COPR/E-COPR(Proof of PR status). You are all good.

This may not be the case, but I wish everyone can get rid of their a$$hole employer/ toxic environment. (you can ignore this part if I make you feel upset by this sentence, thanks.)
