Link is not relevance to our context, It is for extended family member of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you need a written authorization from IRCC.
Okay. However, IRCC is following the same procedure overall worldwide.
Personal thoughts, contacting them if needed/updating is fine and excellent. They are also encouraged that. But asking the same question over and over again is not recommended, especially about processing time, no one can tell you that (only estimate within time lengths, because they keep track of 80% of the applicants for their goal next year. Just for record purpose). I hope the below links can help verify.

Things that can cause delays:
  • Your medical and security screening takes longer than usual
  • We need to interview you
  • You communicate with us by mail instead of using an online account
  • You don’t respond to our requests for information quickly
  • High numbers of applications

How can I check if my application has been received?
How can I update or ask about an IRCC application in progress?

If you have questions like this in mind. Please check on Help Center CIC first before contacting them. There are some answer posts by officers over there. It might reduce the frequency you contacting them using Webform/ by phone.

Btw, They say: "Make sure you keep your contact information updated. This way, we can contact you if we need to."

Many thanks,

Hi, got an email regarding PR portal on Friday (28thMay) - it was sent to my lawyer who forwarded this to me and I responded. Still hasn't received the credentials - how long usually does it take to receive email with the login credentials? Should I respond again? Any experience with that?
Hi did you got email for portal credentials?

Hi guysss

When I received first email for confirmation portal at the end of the letter my officer code I guess was written and this

Vancouver IRCC
Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada

It means my ECOPR would be issued from Vancouver office and my PR card would be emailed from Vancouver office to my place ? I live in Vancouver by the way

Hi Melikaaaaaaaa, Yes, this is correct, VAN. office will issue your E-COPR. If you nominated by BCPNP, and since you live in Vancouver, it will state your City of Dest. Vancouver on your E-COPR.
