Hi, got an email regarding PR portal on Friday (28thMay) - it was sent to my lawyer who forwarded this to me and I responded. Still hasn't received the credentials - how long usually does it take to receive email with the login credentials? Should I respond again? Any experience with that?

Only client copy or iRCC and client copy both. As we have signature of officer only in the Client copy.
Hi dia123, we sign it electronically and forward it to the provincial office. The original PDF cannot be print with the officer's signature (it shows a black box on the officer's signature). Maybe for security reasons.
You could try to capture the photo first by mobile, then sign and print it out. Try this, I think it will work without the adobe sign effect.

Hi Dkd@1018, Congrats. If you received the first email from IRCC, Reply to their questions and choose option A or B. They should be the one who creates your profiles.
"A new account should only be created if you are starting a new permanent residence application using this portal. If you are only using this portal to confirm your permanent resident status and receive your permanent resident card, IRCC will create an account for you and email you your username and temporary password. For more details on the confirmation process, visit the permanent residence confirmation".

Hi alexbi, make sure you reply directly to the IRCC client's email, not to your lawyer's email. Mostly it's 1-14days.

I responded directly to IRCC to the email address the information was sent from. My VO is Ottawa do you know if there is any delay in receiving credentials? In the past weeks it was the same day or next one.

If you do all things correctly, it shouldn't take long for them to create your account.

I forwarded them all necessary information- my lawyer prepared the email ;) and I just sent it. I'm just wondering that now it looks like it's been delayed. For most of the people it took 2 days - for me it's already 4 (if we count weekend)

Congrats!
At which stage could we check the status through ECAS?

@vvin.win or anyone else could please answer my below question

For the port of entry question: is it okay to just write the name of the airport including the city or must provide the full address of the airport??

I am asking because I received an email this morning asking me to respond to the UCI etc question after already responding to it on Friday.... thought maybe I missed something

Anybody who received first portal email on May 24th or around got their credential email yet?
Me, I got it in the 27th, after I sent them a second more clear email. Now I'm waiting for the CoPR since the 27th.

I found this article upload on April 28, 2021 at this Help Centre CIC. I hope that solves a little concern with us. For those who wait for an unusual time with no replies, please double-check the email address, verify that is from IRCC, and keep checking the online account/spam emails, contact IRCC, if needed, and avoid asking them the processing time and same questions repeatedly.
I received an email from an immigration officer. Is it a scam?
  • Common IRCC email practices
    • The email address ends with:
    • The email is usually from a do not reply account.
    • Reply instructions are included in the email.
      • For example, if you are asked to submit additional documents, you will be instructed not to reply to the email. Instead, you will have to follow the instructions included in the email to submit the requested documents.
    • IRCC encourages applicants to use the IRCC Web form to better track correspondence about applications in progress.
    • For online applications, IRCC sends emails to applicants through their accounts.
    • After you contact the IRCC Call Centre, the agent might send you an email with more information regarding your question.
      • This email will be from “Citizenship_And_Immigration_Canada” and the subject title will be “Request for information.”
      • The email will be signed by the agent you spoke with. You cannot reply to this email.
