The Current CIC Page suggests 41 Calender days for the receipt of PR Cards.
Did anyone receive the Card before 41 days?

As per my prior posts, nothing arrived since May 25th, for an application with a representative in Canada, with a Canadian mailing address (I'm currently back in my home country).

From outside the Canada I called the +1 613 944 4000 number (the menu system has changed a bit). They did not ask if I was currently in or outside Canada. Waiting time was 10 minutes. Not too bad. Just another monetary investment in getting to Canada...

Seems the card has not yet been dispatched from the local CIC office. :o Rep on the phone followed up with them, and has chased the local office, and has promised it will be sent forthwith.

Hopefully it will arrive soon - can't tell if they do all this on purpose to some candidates to ensure we really want to come.

Great thread btw, lots of useful info.

Card finally received after I had to telephone CIC to chase it. Took 2 weeks since my phone call for it to turn up.

If your card hasn't arrived beyond the estimated dates, phone them. I was going to SK so don't know if it's only that regional office that was stretched.

I landed on 20 July, 2015 and PR cards delivered to relative's canadian address on 25th September, so you can do the math

PR cards are handled by one office nationwide. Sydney, NS office. Being in SK has no effect

I called CIC and unfortunately they told me that a letter has been sent to the given address in Canada that the photos that were provided for pr card were rejected.

I haven't seen the letter yet. My family will forward it to me from Canada but looks like I have to re-send photos.

I have left Canada at the moment to settle some affairs in my home country.

Any body has experience with rejected photos for pr card and how to deal with them?

I landed on August 8, 2015, my card was issued on September 28, 2015 and I got it on Oct 5, 2015. If you have any question(s) let me know.

Although CIC website, PR cards processing time changed to 41 calendar days (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp),

-My friend landed on Sept 1st still not receive PR card
- Me, my wife and my baby landed on 28th Sept, give my friend canada local home address and waiting for the PRs card.

In my ecas, my address is still my Singapore address. Should I change both of my mailing address and home address to my friend Canada local address by logging in to ECAS?

Thanks and please let me know. Anyone recently got PR card?

Best Regards,
Myat

Dear,
You should apply for a travel document (PRTD) now, as a precaution.
No guarantee when the PR card will arrive.

Hope it helps
