New PR card

Loom, this IS grandma, my landing-date in Calgary is June 5th. my ecase status that I hv become PR was changed in June and Canadian address has also been changed about 8days back.
Its a good idea we all should write timeline of landing and cad-address change and finally receiving PR -CARD

After reading all the reviews here abt PR CARD it seems 65 to 80 days they take to complet the process & mailin PR card.
In 2 weeks time I got my Health card as well as Class -7 driving licence- card just Yesterday.. If three months scenario is true than I will get my PR card 1st week of sept.

Guys good news i received my Pr card actually my friends receive as iam not in Canada now it after a silly long process from CIC because error in the system the remove my Canadian mailing address from my E case , anyway i want to know that if there any problem if my freinds mail the pr card to me by post or courier !!!!

When did u update your address again to CIC when u come to know about ur canadian mailing address has lost?

You landed on 20 April, when u came to know about your address is not there and when u provided the address again and in how many days it arrived after you updated?

Please update as many of us are suffering from same issue, this will serve as a guide for us, awaiting your detailed response in this regard.

Technically your friend is not supposed to mail it outside the country. However everyone does it and people seem to not have any problems. Send it with a private courier like Fedex or UPS

When did u update your address again to CIC when u come to know about ur canadian mailing address has lost?

Actually i can not remember all the details exactly but i was checking me E case and find this mailing boxes disappeared , but i thought that this is some error in the system later i called CIC and asked about my card because i already passed the 85 days plus the 2 weeks for delivery and they said your card can not reach you because you do not have a Canadian address , i give her again my address in the same call and she said that she update it , four days letter the mailing box appear again in the E case and after one week the card came .

thanks but unfortunately ,they send it tom me by Canada post i hope that it will be okay and nothing will happen ???

Is there a form or something to fill out and submit to CIC?

3 - Look for - " Address Notification"
follow the instruction.

bello! landed today... and I told the officer that I need to travel in November... he told me that the PR card should arrive hopefully for that date...
do you know if I can write down a case specific on my CIC to try to expedite?
I used EE and I don't know if they will close my case now...

Hi Gravity,

I checked my ECaS status for PR card.
I see 2 boxes, one for my India address and the other for Canada address (which is my agent, given at the time of applying for FSW).

Now, I see only "change of address" and do not see "address notification" box.

The officer at the port of entry told me to change my address, as I had told him this is my friends address and that I will move in 2 weeks.

Called up CIC and the lady mentioned my friends address and said that the card will be delivered there, but she was not aware "how and when" ECaS will show the new address.

where can I find the " address notification" box?
It's missing, because the officer at port of entry has mentioned something?

Please help.

Hi Fresher, To be honest I had no issue of this type. address notification is the form where u put in yur new Canadian address online .after few weeks or months it changes from your home town address to yur Canadian address.
if yur ecase status shows Canadian address - good- yur address has been update. iff yur home address is still there - than do wait. yur file might be in que.

ignor the notification box.
just check which address is there .
my address was changed after 2.7 months .

yes Loom both disappeared,later they added only one box current home address my Canadian address
