New portal vs gckey

Is there a difference in processing time between gckey and the new portal for student visa

I don't think there are any differences in processing time. The biggest difference for me it that the file size limit for portal is 2 MB while that for gckey is 4.

Reducing the financial proof document to 4 MB is hard enough for me so I didn't even consider portal.
